and we fall one game behind the mighty Falcons.

the Patsies spanked us hard. really nothing good to talk about except Neville went over 100 yards and averaged 6+ ypc. yay.

    good smack down Patsies.

we have some ground to make up.

    GG Baltimore.

First win for the Pack since I took over. Rookie QB Cypher had an excellent game. Very happy with our offense. We've been close several times, and it's nice to get my first win with this team. Looks like the Titans have the first pick locked up now.

We whip San Diego, showing glimpses of glory past. Still hanging on to a playoff possibility by a thread and it all comes down to the big game against the Eagles this week. We're two games behind but if we beat them, we're a game behind with the tiebreaker for a season sweep. Need Seattle to lose as well. So this is it.

We lose C Grant Ellis, whose career pretty much ended with repetitive concussion syndrome, which has stricken three players this year in the FFL.

Wow, great game for Seattle, nice that we were able to play a top team in the league and come out ahead. As bad as this team started the season, they have really come on here in the end. I just hope it is enough to make the playoffs.

We have a tough game this week against SF, this will be a good test of where this team is at.

GG Washington, you totally dismantled us in the 1st half. All of a sudden Denver lost all its momentum and its starting QB. Now instead of home field advantage throughout, we will be fighting for a wildcard spot and hobble into the POs (and likely hobble out soon)

            Good game Mike.

Have you patched to 6.3b? The time management at the end of the game was a bit odd. Anyway, getting a win in Pittsburgh is tough and it was even tougher with the way our defense played, not happy at all with the inconsistency this season. Despite that, we are finding ways to win which is a good sign although some statistical categories sure aren't looking pretty.

Yeah, I need to note that there was a game a couple of sims ago where my coach called a timeout late in the first half on fourth down, only to then punt the ball. That makes no sense whatsoever.

                GG Arizona

4 FGs...that was our offense...

It Looks Like QB Phil Moran can run my offense if he ever gets some weapons to work with.
20-34 throwing to that group of WRs should have gotten him player of the game. :lmao:

RB Thurman Carlson showed he may be able to boost the running game and TE Kennedy Brusca Looks solid.
The Oline played well...only giving up 2 sacks and allowing us to run for 157 yards on 29 carries.

                Defense...what Defense?
2 scoring toses over 70 yards in the 1st quarter allowed Alex Smith and the rest of Arizona's offense to take the rest of the game off.

Looks like CB and WR are the top 2 need areas followed closely by LB and maybe RB.
The QB looks like a keeper though...so far.

                  Good win for the Bears.

Disappointed with this one really as we had it in our grasps at one point and then really let it slip away. Tight displays by both defences for the most part (there were only 55 yards gained in the first quarter).

1st quarter was really a case of the Bears pinning us very deep with punting and we had nowhere to go. We got back into it thatnks to a single long drive in the second and looked like if we could keep it tight we would be okay.

Again though we lost the turnover battle 3-1, and with our struggling offence against a tight defence you just can't do that. Seems to be either turnover or penalties that kill us.

Difference was really the Bears expected pass rush that destroyed us, with the usually mobile Greer being sacked 6 times. The Bears then had a key drive at the end of the 3rd quarter moving into the 4th where they moved the ball 96 yards in 13 plays, including 3 big 3rd down conversions (a shocker when you consider they completed made just 5 of 16 in the entire game).

We failed to even register 100 yards in the air as a result of our offensive line issues against the pass, so it was really game over at that point.

Positive news for us was the losses for Pittsburgh and surprisngly the Browns. That said the bad thing against that was the Lions recorded 444 yards of total offence. Our final three opponents Pittsburgh, Detriot, Cleveland, talk about cruch games, especially the first of those against the Steelers this week !!!

Should the fans get revved up over rookie QB David Raymond, who won his first start against Miami? Threw for 2 TDs and a 105.0 PR. GG.

Raymond will face a sterner test in his 2nd start versus Tamps Bay. We'll see.

Oh man 4 more INT's for Rotzell 2 more fumbles lost for Blasingame.
WR-Irv Buckner has his second big games with 161 yards TE-Carswell breaks the 100 yard mark for the first time in his career. Rotzell does have his first b2b 350 yard passing games. BUT my lordy can we STOP giving the ball away .

GG Tampa thought ya'll were going to steal this one from us too..

GG Bengals. Again we don't play well, but do enough to win. Better against the pass than we have been recently, we've had pressure on opposing QBs for most of the season but have given up lots of yardage despite this. Our veteran OL suffered last off-season which has been a factor in our inconsistent offensive play. At least we have some draft picks (at the moment) to try and fill some holes in the roster this off-season.
                              Cheers,
