So it all comes down to this. One game lead in the division, but will likely lose the tie breaker with SF. So it's a...win for the division. Lose for a wild card.

The little team that could finally flamed out. With a 5th round young QB that we traded for in the off-season we knew it was a stretch to think we could reach the playoffs. Had we won 1 of our last 3 games we could have been in line for a win and in scenario. The Jets put that dream to an end. Very happy with how the young QB faired this season. It was an offense tailored to not take chances and was extremely run centric. That being said we saw enough to believe that if we can build a dominant defense and add another weapon or 2 on offense this 5th rounder might be a starter in this league after all.

All that being said.... lets be honest.... the only other option we have is to completely tank and land in the top 2 and hope there are 2 franchise QBs in the draft class. I wont do that on purpose though and 8-8 appears to be my ceiling as a result. Man... playing without a stud QB is not very fun. Good luck to the remaining contenders. We will keep building this roster and hope to give you all fits going forward.
