May game/team will not DL. I've tried everything. I might have to abandon my Richmond team.

Are you refer to Richmond in the USFL? Follow these exact steps and you should be fine:
1. Launch FOF (but do NOT open the USFL league)
2. Select Controls
3. Select Participants
4. Select Import Game Files
5. Choose 1234USFL from the down drop
6. Click Open
