  • Giants 2045 Draft Class

Giants finished 2044 with a record of 7-9. This matched the record they put together for the 2043 season. This year is a transition year as the retirement of the leaders of the offense (TJ Jordan) and defense (Edward Velvets) has caused a changing of the guard.

No winners in the middle rounds but did pickup Jamison who may pan out in the 7th round..

Looks like Greier (42) was the better choice over Weaver (39)..

    Game gave Giants and A-

      [1-13]Nickolas Dresselhaus - MLB
      School: Air Force
      Height: 5' 11" (Below Average)
      Weight:234 lbs (Way Below Average)

      Home Town Analysis
Maintains his starting position but takes a pretty big hit from 83 to 66 after getting him into camp..

      Role:
      Starting ILB - (Underrated)

      Grade - 82 Very Good
      Post TC Drops to 66

      [2-12]Wayne Waggoner - RB
      School: Quachita
      Height: 6' 0" (Above Average)
      Weight:229 lbs (Above Average)

      Home Town Analysis
Melvin Gordon last years backup dropped further. Glad I brought back Bill Joe Glaser. Waggoner didn't drop as much so hope he can hold on to a backup role.
      Role: Backup RB- (Not Scouted)

      Grade - 44 Average
      Post TC 36
      [3-11]Earl Weaver - QB
      School: Minnesota
Height: 5' 9" (Way Below Average)
      Weight:201 lbs (
      Way Below Average)

      Home Town Analysis
Played well in preaseason. Dropped from a 39 to a 30. Cory Lane last year's 2nd string QB also dropped to 30. Open comp for 2nd string but Lane looks like he has the inside position.

      Role:
3rd String QB- (Very Underrated / Low Vol)

      Grade - 39 Average
      Grade - 36

      [4-10]Lance Jamison - K
      School: Indiana
      Height:
      5' 11" (Below Average)
      Weight:192 lbs (
      Way Below Average)

      Home Town Analysis
We have two rookies in camp and although Jamison has the inside track, Harold Adams looks better on paper. He has a 4 year contract so this will guarantee he gets a longer look.

      Role:
      Starting K..

      Grade - 39 Good
      Post TC - 50

      [5-9]Chance Euhus- C

      Weight:
      282 lbs (
      Below Average)

      Home Town Analysis
No options in camp. He maintains he pre-camp rating. Expected to win the backup C position.

      Role:
      Backup C..

      Grade - 33 Average
      Post TC - 34

      [6-16]Elias Alexander
      School:
      West Virginia
      Height:
      5'11" (Below Average)
      Weight:
      179 lbs (Way
      Below Average)

      Home Town Analysis
Injured in pre-season will see where he ends up. Looks like a backup possible starter down the line

      Role:
      Possession Receiver

      Grade - 38 Average
      Post TC 42

      [7-15]Collin Jamison - OLB

      Home Town Analysis
Not keeping up with the rest of his teammates. May not survive camp.

      Role: Backup LB..

A look down memory lane from 2046...

        [1-13]
        Nickolas Dresselhaus - MLB

        Comments..
Looks like a winner at 78-78.. Full grown Beast in the middle.
        - Defensive Rookie of the Year

        [2-12]Wayne Waggoner - RB

        Comments
Numbers game keeps him from reaching his potential. Listed as 3rd maybe 4th on the depth charts.

        [3-11]Earl Weaver - QB
        Comments
QB of the future went to 3rd string rather quickly. Hopefully he can learn by not playing..

        [4-10]Lance Jamison - K

        Comments
You don't normally lose when you draft a kicker this high so taking half a point for him..

1.5 starters from the 2045 draft.

          2047 Look back..

3rd year is where you point to progress.

          [1-13]Nickolas Dresselhaus - MLB
Excellent: All league 2nd team following up a rookie of the year 2045. Top MLB in the league. Looking good so far.

          [2-12]Wayne Waggoner - RB
Average: running back, who looks like he will be getting 3rd RB reps. Looks good on film but hasn't translated to the field.

          [3-11]Earl Weaver - QB
          Good friends with Frank Garrett..

          [4-10]Lance Jamison - K
Average: Finally showed that he is ready to be a full time kicker. Graded out at Average. Wasn't as efficient as 2045, so we hope to see improvement here as we need scoring from the Kicker slot.
