  • FFL Review Season 2040 Week 5

Nothing change more one Franchise that a stud veteran free agent, right?

Well in the resume of this week we will see how the Top 3 Free Agents in the last Off-season (Guided by "The Green Sheet") are performing in his new teams!

    * DT Erik Farley

    Buffalo (2-3) 19 at Miami (0-5) 14

Standout Erik Farley is playing probably the best football of his career collapsing the interior gaps but the Dolphins are struggling in many other lines, this time Farley should be very up-set after refused a lot big-money contracts from contenders, but we are now to focus in this "Derby" in the AFC East. The conexion Paton - Amaro finished in the first TOUCHDOWN of the game in the 1st quarter with an inspired drive after the initial Interception to E.J. Manuel when he wanted to test the Dolphins“ defense in the 4th play of the game. But unfortunately for Erik and the team of Florida this was all in the 1st half. However during that span the Bills turned the game 10-7 after Manuel-Lee combo in a 20 yard TOUCHDOWN pass!
At the beggining of the 2nd half again Paton and Webb were inspirated in a long-sustained drive of 12 plays and 80 Yards finished by a goal-line-pile TOUCHDOWN by the back. But this was all of the 2nd half as well for Miami. Buffalo won confidence during the 2nd half and in the 4th quarter finished the comeback thanks to a quick pass to the flat from Manuel to Money (Give me the) for a TOUCHDOWN score which sat a 2 minute drill for Paton and the Dolphins. Quick and dirty 2nd play INTERCEPTION and the Bills scored the 2 W of the season.

    SLB Brad Rash

    New York Jets (5-0) 23 at Cincinnati (2-3) 10

Rash is just the last piece in the puzzle of the Jets which are pushing for everything this year, Rash made 6 Total Tackles, 1 Sack, 1 Hurry, 2 Knockdowns and 1 Pass Defended amazing match within a game that was ground-and-pound-jets-style. 72 Total offensive plays for the Jets and only 52 for the Bengals with almost doubling the possession time. However Baruffi played the worst game of the season with 2 Picks (In a Houston Texans New Kid style ) and this is a reason to worry in the future. Two rushing TOUCHDOWNS for the Jets in that game and is enough thanks to their marvellous D# lead by Rash

    MLB Edward Velevis

    Dallas (3-2) 20 at New York Giants (2-2) 23

Velevis is leading a D# with 5 Rookies and all of they are performing really good thanks to him, but he went out with an Hyperextended Elbow for 3 Weeks, see how the Giants overcome that problem. But if Blackmon still performing like in this game any problem will be in the horizont. One of the best games of the season in that Classic game between the Cowboys and the Giants. Started soon in the 2nd drive of the game for a 9 plays, 78 Yards and TOUCHDOWN score from the Yard 10 by Terry Maloney. Boyd and Richard connected their FGs. Two touchdowns by the Giants one running in Goal-Line territory and another in a play-action in the same territory. Nice return by the Giants and 13-17 thanks to the leg of Richard from 44 Yards. The Giants D stepped up and only allowed 3 points and 77 yards in the 2nd half. Timmae adjusted the O and Blackmon and Ford guided by Jordan won more than 200 yards and 10 points.

    Other scores of the game

    Arizona 27 at Seattle 21
Carolina 6 at Sant Louis 10
    Chicago 24 at Washington 19
    Detroit 17 at Philadelphia 19
Green Bay 7 at Minnesota 30
    Houston 7 at Oakland 20
Kansas City 13 at Tennessee 27
New England 27 at Baltimore 26
    Pittsburgh 23 at Cleveland 27
San Diego 41 at Indianapolis 18
San Francisco 22 at Tampa Bay 20

your approach of covering single players is interesting. Always enjoy reading your stuff.
