2038 The Sim Has been Run Thread

Training Camp has been completed

if there are any issues I need to know RIGHT away, but I think we are fine now

don't ask me why the ftp was screwed up, because I really don't know
all I did was what I always do...trouble shoot until i figure out how to make it work
I did change the Seattle passwords on the 2 draft utilities...we could have had bots logged in clogging things up
I also cleared the export folder on the server...maybe that did it
I called the servers customer support and of course they told me everything was fine on their end
15 minutes later things started working again
I went back and redid the sim...thinking that could be it
i was about to try and upload my saved files to the server...who knows if that would have worked or not
Nerve Racking...this ftp is the worst idea Jim ever had
anyhow...

26 files were imported correctly

Two Trades were processed
I sent Long Snappers to Houston and Philadelphia
There were no bonuses so there was no need to void the contracts
It was easier to just trade them...I received nothing in return

After Today, Everyone has a long snapper
I traded long snappers to Baltimore and Buffalo prior to todays sim to avoid having the game crash

Todays sim crashed multiple times until I finally had to go in and rex depth charts for teams that hadnt imported, I had to make players inactive to get down to 46 active for some teams, and then I had to do a 2nd file, sign 2 long snappers and trade them to BAL and BUF
A real Nightmare...and then we still had the following teams get AI'd

I heard from Marv tonight
he has been away...working in Philadelphia...So he has missed every stage since Training Camp and wasnt home in time to get a file in for todays week 2 mid
This is a 2nd Week 2 Mid to allow him to add 1 player...and to process a trade
Given the amount of sims he has missed...I didn't see this as an outrageous request, so i ran the 2nd Mid for him
The file that is on the server now reflects these 2 Buffalo Transactions (1 trade and 1 FA signing)
This will not affect any other teams for Mondays sim
If you already exported, your file is still good...the stage was not advanced
