  • Record For Interceptions

In this last preseason game, San Fransisco's two quarterbacks threw a combined 9 interceptions (starter Zane McNeil threw one, while backup Robert Khan threw 8) with two of them being pick sixes. Khan ended the game with a statline of 14-41, 175, 0 TD, 8 INT. His passer rating was 5.5. Does this break the record for most interceptions in a single game, or did some poor guy have an even worse go of it. I am amused that even this performance didn't lead to a 0 passer rating.

Wow, that is an amazing stat line. Not sure how to easily data mine INTs thrown (especially in pre-season games), but it would be hard to imagine more picks in a game.

That's awesome! So he was auditioning for a job? That's like going to a job interview and taking a wiz on the employers desk.
