  • Injury Setting

What's everyone's opinion regarding the idea of reducing the injury setting even further to provide some relief for the teams with bad turfs? Almost a third of the league has poor or fair turfs.

We could try this idea on a temporary basis until teams have had an opportunity to move or renovate their stadiums. A move takes 5 years and often the move is declined.

Injuries do suck the fun out of this game, and when it stops being fun people walk away. It's no fun to build a good team and then watch injuries destroy it, and it isn't a good thing for any league when GMs give up and / or quit because of it. I realize that there are injuries in the NFL but the length of them and the frequency in FOF seems inflated to me. Maybe that's bad turf and maybe not, but reducing the injury setting is one way to help fix the problem.
I put in a proposal to move my Raiders to Las Vegas for Mondays sim, but like Tom said, there's no way to know it will be approved and even if it is it will take 5 seasons.

Edit: now I am debating on what has a better chance to be approved
a Renovation that costs 645 million to both the team and the city
    1.29 billion total
or a move that costs 1.9 billion to both the team and the city
    3.8 billion total
Maybe i should just try to renovate

Injury setting should be lowered. Maybe to something like 50. I have had major injuries to big time players the last 3 seasons.

With one maybe two seasons to go before the new game and hopefully a fix to the turf and financial issues, moving is not really going to help people over those seasons. So I think lowering until the new game comes out would be a good thing.

I don't really care. I like the realism of some injuries. But I hate the whining when they occur. So turning it down is fine by me. My only requirement is that it's the same in IFL so I don't have to switch it each sim. Their season should be over before we start. I doubt anyone over there will be against less injuries.

denver wants a refund for the all-natural organic turf we put in our stadium.

That ain't turf. I'm sure you could mow it and sell the "clippings".

Yes, we're at 50. So, that rock quarry you run in Buffalo is slightly safer now.
